Solitude

Hello friends! From Monday to Wednesday, June 10-12th, I’ll be having alone time with God at a hotel near the beach. I recently received a new ministry opportunity so I’ll be planning and praying.

I won’t have my phone or laptop. Just a pen, a notepad, and my Bible.

I do have regularly scheduled posts for the days that I’m gone!

Please pray for my safety. Love y’all!

  1. Lose the technology and focus on Christ. I would give much to do that for a day or two. Christ is our only mediator, he is our groom, our brother, our saviour, our Lord, our redeemer…our redeemer – he is our redeemer! Oh what grace and love.

    Father God, sweet Jesus, Holy Spirit, grant Pastor JS peace and wisdom as he seeks you. Reveal yourself to him through your Word. Grant him all he needs in this time of introspection and prayer. You are good, and your love endures forever. Amen

    Joon, I pray that the grace of our Lord and saviour, the fellowship of the holy spirit and love of God would be with you.
    The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
    the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
    the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.

  2. No electronic devices. This is what I call fasting. 🙂 I can’t fast food because of medical issues so I usually fast t.v. and Internet. I know you will be blessed by this sort of solitude. Enjoy His presence!

    1. I just returned today, I think I might write on it. Honestly the electronics-fast was tough, and the hotel had a TV where I became attached after a little while. I had to rip myself away from that thing.
