Quote: Grace Then

A culture of honesty can only come from a culture of grace, because people are only honest when they have hope of an undeserved love. Grace then is messy, gritty, real, raw, and reckless — meaning it makes us more human and not less.

  1. This was good. I shared it on Facebook. I want grace from others when I mess up, but am I willing to give them grace when they’re the ones out of line? I want to receive grace when I’m being real, but want them to behave in ways that accommodate me. If that means they have to “fake” it, oh well. Hmm. Maybe I’m part of the problem.
