Thank you so much Suzanne! Awesome. I’m both humbled and honored. It’s still hard to believe that anyone would highlight (or even read) anything I’d have to say. Hope you’ll consider leaving a review on Amazon there too if you haven’t already 🙂
I’m pretty sure I have, but I’ll go check to make sure. I’ll also be throwing those highlighted quotes over on Words, Wisdom, etc (wordswisdometc.wordpress.com) eventually for all to see!
Love that quote! It’s good to keep a balanced perspective on legalism, otherwise everything starts looking legalistic. I tend to jump on that end, unfortunately..
Such a tough tension to maintain between legalism and license. But I think Jesus is also so much more than a “third way” between them both. He transcends such categories and brings us along to be altogether new.
In the name of fighting ‘legalism’ many Christians have become savorless salt. http://textsincontext.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/teaching-children-the-ten-commandments/

I have 21 pages of highlights on my Kindle. That’s 80 highlights. Your book is chock full of wisdom, that’s why!
