My Next Book.

I’m working on my next book, a really tough one about trials and suffering. It’s about how to be mad with God. I’m also going over depression, sexy cancer, second world problems, misquoting verses for inspirational Instagrams, and the theology of True Detective, Louis C.K., and The Shawshank Redemption.

Please throw a prayer whenever you can. Hopefully it’ll be available in the spring, around February or March. Love y’all …!

— J.S.

(If you’d like to be a test-reader, I’ll be announcing it next month. You get a free digital copy in exchange for a little feedback and a consideration to write a review on Amazon.)

  1. Blessings on your writings.
Abba, give J.S. your inspiration and the right words as he writes. Give him your message that will help many. Encourage him on the journey. Bless his marriage. Thank you Abba for encouraging him with inspiration. Draw him closer to you today than he was yesterday. Thank you for J.S. and his bride. Abundantly bless them and care for all their needs. Praise you Abba that you hear and answer through your wonderful son, Jesus. Amen

    1. Thank you Emily! I’m afraid this might be the book that divides a few readers, whether due to unconventional theology or over-honesty. I’ll announce the test-reading when it begins! Thanks for your interest. 🙂

      1. I’m all about reading or hearing from writers/speakers that mince no words. I’m no theologian and am fairly accepting of others points of view. As far as theology goes as long as it doesn’t have to do with the main points of scripture: virgin birth, trinity, salvation by faith through grace, I can glean and learn.
