Quote: But Dust

He who grows in grace remembers that he is but dust, and he therefore does not expect his fellow Christians to be anything more. He overlooks ten thousand of their faults, because he knows his God overlooks twenty thousand in his own case. He does not expect perfection in the creature, and, therefore, he is not disappointed when he does not find it.

— Charles H. Spurgeon

  1. Am I bad? “But Dust” Those words always make me laugh. I have a KJV Bible and I’ve found so many funny wordings. I try not to laugh in church but I want to. Is it possible to have inside jokes with God? I’m not ten I promise….I like the seriousness of the post too and the quote is right on. I just have a giggly kid inside me. God bless bro!
